» Tuition assistance available
» Grow your business with energy assessments and energy upgrades
» Sustain your business with permanent, non-outsourced jobs
» Offer homeowner utility rebates up to $5,000

Many government and utility sponsored programs that promote energy efficiency require participants to have BPI certification. Contractors participating in the statewide Energy Upgrade California program must have: a valid California contractor’s license; appropriate bonding; and specified certifications and/or training for the work being performed. (See Links section.)

In California, tuition assistance is available for ConSol’s BPI classes on a first-come, first-served basis through Efficiency First, a national nonprofit trade association that unites the home performance workforce and related businesses and organizations in the fight against global warming and rising energy costs.

BPI is a national standards development and credentialing organization of residential energy efficiency retrofit work. ConSol is a BPI Affiliate that provides training and certification. ConSol’s BPI courses align with the BPI standards for energy auditing and provide instruction for energy efficiency analysis using the house-as-a-system approach. The BPI courses provide professionals with knowledge necessary to take the certification exam and become a BPI Certified Professional.
