Energy Efficient and Green Energy ConsultantsConSol has been providing energy solutions for builders, government agencies, utilities, trade associations and developers since 1981. ConSol services include: energy code (Title 24 and IECC) compliance documentation; energy efficiency, retrofit, and green program design and management; builder energy code training and training for Building Performance Institute (BPI); and Home Energy Rating System (HERS) inspections. In addition, as a team lead for one of the Department of Energy’s Building America teams, ConSol offers leading-edge research and energy consulting in systems and technologies to improve sustainability of new and existing residential developments.

   The Role of Appraisals in Energy Efficiency Retrofit Financing BIRA recently hosted a Building America Expert meeting on “The Role of Appraisals in Energy Efficiency Retrofit Financing”. The program strived to connect the appraisal, financial and retrofit industries to foster dialogue among experts in these fields to discuss ways to make financing for energy efficiency more readily available to homeowners. Six presentations were given.
