Energy Efficient and Green Programs
ConSol is committed to protecting the environment, improving quality of life, and promoting sustainability through energy efficient and green programs for builders and jurisdictions. ConSol encourages the development of green building without excessive costs through Builder Energy Code Training, California Green Builder and the ComfortWise® family of programs.
Building Industry Research Alliance
The Building Industry Research Alliance (BIRA) is a diverse coalition of over eighty industry partners committed to improving energy and resource efficiency in residential housing for the Department of Energy's Building America Program (BAP). The goal of BAP is to build marketable, cost-effective Net Zero Energy Homes across the country by 2020. BIRA, one of the six DOE teams, is led by ConSol. BIRA works with innovative home builders to combine solar energy systems with highly energy efficient designs, construction practices and technologies.

California Green Builder®
California Green Builder is the most effective and cost-effective green building program for production builders and California homebuyers. Created by homebuilders for homebuilders, the voluntary program meets the needs of builders, buyers, and California's cities and counties alike by conserving resources, preserving the environment, and measuring the impact. ConSol administers the California Green Builder program for The Building Industry Institute.

ComfortWise® Family of Programs
The ComfortWise® family of programs, ComfortWise®, ComfortWise® Green, and ComfortWise®
NEAR Zero Energy Neighborhoods (ZEN), are designed and built for energy efficiency and are independently inspected for quality.
