Energy Code Compliance (T24 & IECC)
ConSol analysts are certified for residential and non-residential energy compliance by California Association of Building Energy Consultants (CABEC). They are trained to select energy design measures based on the highest code impact and the lowest additional cost to the builder. The expertise of the highly trained staff also allows them to identify potential costly design problems and recommend cost-effective energy options.
ConSol's compliance staff is trained in all compliance approaches and produces all necessary energy analysis documentation required to meet California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24) and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) that is used throughout the rest of the United States. The compliance group is well-versed in MICROPAS, EnergyPro, EnergyGuage, EnergyPlus, CALRES and REM/Rate™.
2008 Title 24 Update Service
The 2008 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Parts 1 and 6) went into effect January 1, 2010. ConSol has been working closely with the California Energy Commission’s Title-24 rulemaking committee throughout the multi-year development of the 2008 Standards and compliance software, giving us in-depth knowledge and experience with the newest Standards in advance of most others.
The new standards are approximately 20% more stringent than he 2005 Standards. The average cost of compliance is about $2200 (depending on climate zone and home design). Without proper understanding of the true cost of various measures, this compliance cost could easily increase by thousands of dollars. ConSol is your solution to keeping your costs low and quality high.
