Home Energy Inspections
ConSol’s certified raters provide oversight for a better built home. The raters are certified and monitored by RESNET outside of California. In
California, they are certified by either the California Home Energy Efficiency Rating System (CHEERS) or CalCerts
each of which is approved by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to certify and monitor energy raters. ConSol’s certified raters work with your site staff to ensure non-interrupted production and oversight.
Without oversight, improperly performed work can cost a builder endless customer service calls, thousands of dollars of corrective work, the costs of litigation and most importantly, an enthusiastic homeowner. Quality and reputation are the best marketing tools of any builder. ConSol raters provide the oversight you need for code requirements or above code programs.

| The president of a major production builder wanted to decrease litigation issues in an uncertain market. Sales had decreased, staff had been reduced, and quality control had dropped. He wanted to minimize change and take advantage of existing construction practices. By using quality HVAC construction guidelines and designs inspected by HERS raters, the builder decreased defect litigation and customer complaints. Additional savings were realized from reduced customer complaints about comfort. |
