ConSol is able to consistently deliver effective quality programs and create sustainable energy efficient solutions for the industry, assist with codes interpretation, and outreach of energy-efficiency policies, program design, best practices development, and design and implementation of training programs.
For more than 20 years ConSol’s experts have assisted the building industry in determining practical ways to meet and exceed changing building energy codes, while making homes more comfortable and cost-effective to build and own.
We provide consulting and design services to builders, as well as work closely with builder organizations. Consol employees serve on several key codes and energy committees, helping to make policy for the industry. We review and provide consultation on codes and standards and develop comments for revisions to be sent to the appropriate governing body or agency. ConSol played a significant role in the development of the national infrastructure for home energy rating systems.
ConSol continues to help mainstream innovative construction techniques and energy-efficient technologies. Its research led to the creation of practical building protocols and helped drive market transformation for energy efficient residential construction. We provide cost effectiveness analyses for efficiency measures, working with the customer to define the baseline and feature costs.
ConSol has successfully been managing third party programs, for over 10 years, and has the experience and expertise to reduce residential housing loads and peak demand.
