Eligibility & Incentives

To qualify for the DRET program, you must meet all of the following requirements:
  • Program homes built at least 30% above the 2005 California Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (includes DRET technology savings)
  • Electrical service must be provided by SCE
  • Each program home includes at least one (1) DRET program technology
  • Homes must be constructed by November 30, 2008
  • Builder will allow installation and usage of monitoring equipment on select homes in order to evaluate energy saving; select homes will be monitored for six (6) months
  • Incentives provided for each installed program technology, worth an estimated 80% of the associated incremental cost ††
  • Participating builders may also be eligible for Federal Tax Credits and SCE, gas or other rebates; ConSol will work with the builder to identify any possible concurrent enrollment issues
